Terms and Conditions of Use of Cuanto

Article 1. Acceptance of Terms
By selecting "I accept the Terms and Privacy Policy" during the registration process or by using the Platform, the User declares that they have read and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions ("T&C").
Cuanto may modify the T&C at any time. Substantial changes will be notified via in-app banner or email; continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of the modifications.
Article 2. Definitions
- User: Physical person over 18 years of age with residence in Mexico who creates an account.
- Cashback/Reward: Virtual benefit without monetary value until redemption, generated by purchasing products or services through valid Offers.
- Offer: Promotion from partner merchants that grants Cashback: (i) Online Offers, (ii) Card-Linked Offers, (iii) Gift Cards.
- Balance: Accumulated Reward Points convertible to money or vouchers.
- Partner Merchant: Third party that pays commission to Cuanto for attributable purchases.
Article 3. Registration and Account
The User guarantees to provide truthful information and keep it updated. Creating more than one account per person is prohibited.
Credentials are personal and non-transferable; the User is responsible for any activity performed from their account.
Article 4. Services Offered
The Platform allows:
- Search for merchants and products.
- Activate Offers and generate Cashback.
- Link bank cards via certified open-banking provider.
- Purchase gift cards and redeem Balance.
- Apply coupons automatically.
- Other future functionalities at no additional cost (unless otherwise indicated).
Article 5. Conditions for Obtaining and Redeeming Cashback
Obtaining. The User must start their purchase from the Platform, allow cookies and not use blockers that prevent tracking. Returned or cancelled purchases do not generate Cashback.
Redemption. The Balance may be withdrawn via SPEI transfer to a Mexican account in the User's name or redeemed for gift cards or donations, once the minimum of 100MXN is reached.
Cuanto is not a financial institution nor custodian of funds; it acts solely as an intermediary for the rewards program.
Article 6. Prohibited Conduct
Fraud, reverse engineering, scraping, commercial use of the Platform, manipulation of offers or execution of fictitious transactions for the purpose of generating Cashback are grounds for immediate suspension.
Article 7. Intellectual Property
All code, design, logos and databases are property of Cuanto. The User is granted a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license for personal use in accordance with these T&C.
Article 8. Liability
The Platform is offered "as is" and "as available". Cuanto does not guarantee the absence of errors nor continuity of service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cuanto's total liability to the User is limited to the amount of Cashback pending redemption on the date of the incident.
Article 9. Account Termination
Cuanto may suspend or cancel the account:
- for inactivity exceeding 24 months,
- fraud or breach of these T&C,
- by unilateral decision with 30 days notice.
Article 10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These T&C are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For the interpretation or compliance thereof, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other jurisdiction.
The User may also resort to PROFECO or, as the case may be, to CONDUSEF for disputes related to financial services.
